Each day your suite is stocked with continental breakfast which includes organic bread, fresh fruit salad, free range eggs and organic yoghurt.

Ground floor Suite

This suite has a classic Georgian sitting room with a wonderful mixture of modern and antique furniture. The spacious bedroom overlooks the garden. This apartment also has a beautiful open fireplace. Total space approximately 1,000 sq. ft.  There is one bathroom.  Accommodate up to 2 people. Minimum 30 nights stay.

First floor Suite

This suite has plush carpets and huge ceiling cornices, but the most remarkable features are the sheer space and massive windows which let the light flood in. On chilly days you can curl up by an open fire. This suite has one bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room.  It has two bathrooms (one is a full bath while the other has a shower). One of the two sofas in the sitting room converts to a sofa bed. Total space approximately 1,000 sq. ft.   Accommodate up to 2 people.  Minimum 1 night stay.

Garden Suite

This suite has its own Georgian walled garden - twice the size of your suite. The garden is floodlit - perfect for sitting out on a summer evening. Total space is approximately 750 sq. ft. and that does not include the garden.   There is one bedroom and one bathroom.  Accommodate up to 2 people.  Minimum 1 night stay.

Patio Suite

The one bedroom with one bathroom features a modern design with a collection of modern paintings from Glasgow and Edinburgh art schools. The dressing room off the bedroom overlooks your own patio garden. Approximately 700 sq. ft.  Accommodate up to 2 people.  Minimum 30 nights stay.

Second Floor Suite

The suite offers two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with full bath, other with shower), sitting room and kitchen with dining area - perfect for a family group. The views from the back bedroom overlook the gardens. From the front you see the elegant spires of St Mary's Cathedral. Total space approximately 1,000 sq. ft .  Accommodate up to 4 people.  Minimum 1 night stay.

Apartment terms & conditions

Booking Procedure
Booking Chester Residence is simple, just like a hotel.  All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or debit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Switch/Maestro) at the time of reservation.

Deposit requirements
Deposits are required for certain weekends and public holidays throughout the year such as rugby internationals, New Year and Xmas. Any bookings during the month of August (or whilst the Edinburgh festival is on) will also be subject to payment of a deposit. Reservations during these times (and any other time when Chester Residence Ltd advises you that a deposit is required) will be subject to a deposit of 25% of the cost of your total stay. Deposits will be taken at the time of booking if the booking is made less than 28 days in advance of your stay. In the case of bookings made 28 days or more before the date of stay, the deposit will be taken 29 days in advance of your arrival.

The deposit will be subtracted from the total amount due at your time of departure.

The deposit is entirely non-refundable should you cancel your guaranteed reservation, regardless of whether this is done by the Required Date as discussed above.   However, for the avoidance of doubt, should you forfeit your deposit by cancelling your guaranteed reservation, you will not be charged an additional cancellation fee in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for a guaranteed reservation must be received at least 5 working days prior to the arrival date ("the Required Date"). If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the Required Date, Chester Residence Ltd will charge to your debit or credit card (provided at time of reservation) a 25% cancellation fee of the total amount due. If a booking is cancelled less than 24hrs in advance (later than 14:00 the day before the booking is due to commence) then the Chester Residence Ltd will charge 100% cancellation fee of the total amount due.
